After 30 years studying and practicing many different religions – Paganism, Wicca, Heather, Judaism, and Buddhist, I recently returned to the Christian Church and rededicated my life to Christ.
This page isn’t a place where I’ll preach AT anyone. Instead, this is where I will discuss what it’s like to rediscover Christianity after 30 years of wandering.
My tools are:
1. A copy of the NIV;
2. A copy of The Message Bible;
3. A copy of the Life Application Study Bible;
4. Numerous daily devotion books, starting with Sheila Walsh‘s “5 Minutes With Jesus: Making Today Matter“. I’m about to wrap that one up – I have 2 more days of it to read, then I’ll either start over or move on to the next one in my arsenal – “First Cup Devotions For Women“;
5. A great church with a pastor whose messages are what led me back to the church;
6. A “local guide” – a friend who is an Episcopalian minister who takes time to meet with me and answer my crazy off the wall questions;
7. A boyfriend who also listens to my crazy off the wall questions and hasn’t given up on me;
8. A bunch of awesome friends.
Thanks for joining me on my journey.
